206 countries, 36 venues, 1 epic Olympics
We were honored to be part of the creative force working alongside with NBC’s Paris Olympics creative team, crafted Interstitials, Country Flags, and Venue Animations—a project that took us across 17 regions and 36 venues, from the heart of Paris to the shores of Tahiti.
Bringing Paris 2024 to life came with a unique challenge: many of the Olympic venues were still under construction, some just weeks before the Games. With no option for a live video shoot, we built the entire city in Unreal Engine, crafting a digital Paris while the real one was still rising. In fact, several of our 3D models were completed before the stadiums themselves, requiring only minor refinements once the final structures were revealed.
And how did we prepare 206 hot air balloons before the grand reveal at the opening ceremony? Their journey remains a closely guarded secret, locked away with the NBC Peacock. Let’s just say the idea wasn’t tipped off by the Olympic Committee—but it was destined to take flight.
A huge thank you to the entire NBC Olympics team, whose talent and dedication over the past year brought this vision to life.
